Not a good idea to warm the whole bottle of oil.

A better (and easier) method is to just put a long handled utensil (such as

a knife) into the bottle to retrieve the small amt needed of the cold solid

oil.

No need. A knife fits through the original bottle neck . Just remove the

plastic " pour " spout that covers the narrow neck before inserting the knife.
