Guest guest
I have that book too. It is great and is wonderful for parents who just found out their child has JRA. I also have the Health Organizer: A Personal Health-Care Record. It's great and has a section to keep your list of all your Childs doctors. A section to keep a list of their meds. It also has a journal section and asks questions specifically about your arthritis. I would definitely recommend it! Guest guest
Gay: the " bible " is Walford's book. Being that you are a newbie (and it sounds like you haven't yet read the files); and you say in another post that " your head is clogged with all these studies " I would suggest you read the " Beginning CRON " file for now. Then you can work your way through the other files. It's a lot of material to absorb and digest. on 6/16/2005 5:41 AM, Gay e at @... wrote: > Are you saying that having read " Beyond the 120 year diet " plus the > files here, I probabaly wouldn't benefit much from reading additional > books? > > I have to buy them, btw. Guest guest
Chantal, in the U.S., it is the law that we are entitled to anything in our records. I guess if a system keeps people in the dark, it doesn't have to be so accountable? If anyone denied me my records would throw a fit like they'd never before seen. The medical society said it is up to the dr. if I can look at my chart & lab results at my doctors office. Anyone else experiencing trouble with getting info.. They claim if the specialist etc. need the info they will request it. Hospital chart, awaiting an app. to see my chart. We`ll see next week if my doctor will allow me to see `my` chart and if they allow me to see my hospital chart. Complicated.. I want my info! .. Last evening I read the Evolution of Diagnostic Criteria for Primary Aldosteronism. I printed off a copy and brought it to my endo this morning and I gave it to the nurse. She made a copy. I gave it to her because her sister-in-law has Drug-resistent hypertension and hypokalemia for years! I`m passing on the word! I had trouble going into the files recently ( when I first signed up) but last night no problem so I`ll go on and complete the survey etc. Ahh, trying to get sleep but my system is super tired but my sleep is disturbed!
