Guest guest
Hi Maco: IMO, olive oil is essential for some purposes, and eating just a small amount is unlikely to do you any long term harm. But since you will not be using much and the jar will last a long time, it is better to keep out well out of heat and light. If you bought olive oil I suggest keeping it in the refridgerator. It will go solid, but it only takes a couple of minutes to reliquify enough to use by placing the jar in warm water (I put the jar upside down in the warm water so that it is the topmost oil that liquifies first) - when enough has thawed, use what you need and put it back in the fridge.
