Guest guest
Francesca asked what kind of evidence Colin 's book gives to back up his statements about protein causing bad health effects. provided the references from the book which are listed below. I'll be darned! All the references happen to have " TC " as a coauthor! Could it be that this TC and Colin are one and the same guy? Indeed, T. Colin Ph.D. is the author of " The China Study " . This means that THERE HAS NOT BEEN ANY independent evaluation of 's claims. The fact that gets to publish his papers in Nutr. Cancer and Cancer Lett. could mean only that the editors respect his credentials and do not challenge his conclusions. As far as I am concerned, taking into consideration that coauthored the references, the ideas in the book represent only ONE PERSON's point of view with NO INDEPENDENT corroborating evidence from other laboratories or by scientists who are not associated with . Therefore, 's conclusions have to be viewed skeptically. Tony ==== 1)PMID: 1681520 Nutr Cancer. 1991;16(1):31-41.
