It seemed to say that eating wholemeal bread daily, but not bran cereals, was associated with longevity. Other factors were smoking and eating fresh fruit daily. These values were significant. Not significantly better was eating raw salads. No effect of vegetarianism was seen for all-cause mortality, despite two authors being members of the Vegetarian Society.
