How do we make sure that the errors get corrected within this 6 months and

reimbursements become adequate?

Hi Judy,

Thanks for asking. Our plan is to meet with Deputy Director Kuhn within the next

few weeks to find out what CMS plans to do at that point and to make our

expectations very clear. Betsy has already submitted the formal request for the

meeting. Betsy, myself, and one or two RIT experts will participate. It's worth

noting that we are not out of the woods on the main issues: methods of

calculating costs (should be Average Sales Price as it is for all other drugs),

and how parts of RIT are classified as diagnostic - each of these led to the

underpayment to hospitals in the final rule.
