Guest guest
Hi All, Thanks, Al for forwarding Shaka's tale of 2 CRONies. I thought it was a great cautionary tale and he pointed out some excellent reasons for moderation. One of his stats really jumped out at me though, and I just had to ask about it to see if it was a mistake. When he quoted his improving biomarkers, he said his HDL/LDL went from 121/44 to 99/76. Is *increased* LDL typical of either severe CR or CRON? I thought that was bad. In fact, it looks like his total cholesterol increased slightly. Perhaps this was a typo?
