Just some food for thought to go along with all that garlic: In a

FASEB article

ct & list_uids=12586746 & query_hl=6

Forster et al. demonstrate that in certain genotypic backgrounds, CR

fails to increase longevity. These authors also note that in certain

genotypes (DBA/2 in this instance) CR imposed late in life decreases

rather than increases longevity.

By extention, one might predict that some humans, like the DBA/2 mice

in the study, will prove to be rather insensitive to CR.
