Guest guest
I have been contributing some components to an experimental meta-search engine being developed by the National Institutes of Health. The following link takes you to the meta-search engine. http://tamas.nlm.nih.gov/metasearch/ There are 4 buttons at the top, one of which is " Health " . When you click it, the system is configured to search various sources of health information, including PubMed. Searching for something like " unsaturated fatty acids and cancer " produces your typical list of results, but on the left side of the page, there is a column containing term clusters found in the results that may be of interest. Clicking on a specific cluster triggers a new narrower search. At the top of the first page there is a " Help " button that explains the features of the interface and provides an e-mail address for reporting problems and suggestions. A list of this and other linguistic experimental projects at NIH is at: http://sis5.nlm.nih.gov/ Tony
