Guest guest
A while back, someone on this board mentioned a large rubber ball for bouncing. I bought one and its terrific. It's called Resist-a-Ball and available at sporting goods stores for about $30. The 55cm. (almost 2 feet)diameter ball size works well. You can just sit on it and bounce. Other then stretching, it's the only exercise I can get. I can't stand up long enough to use the mini-trampoline. It definitely has been beneficial. Guest guest
If you live in an apartment, would bouncing on a mini trampoline disturb your downstairs neighbors? If anyone knows the answer to this, I'd appreciate it!

Just keep on moving but safely and comfortably Barb who listens to my body instead of the tape

It was just my teasing way of letting you know that it's commonly looked upon as shouting. I put a little smiley face in my message to let you know I was teasing. I really didn't think you were purposely shouting at us. -- Sandy

Guest guest
Hi Kathy, Seems to be a common thing. They bounce my emails from any group that I belong to with great frequency....at one point is was every day...and then to have to go back and sign up all over again every day. They really need to get someone there who knows how to do their job and fix things right. IMHO. ~ Chiodo mom to 22 mo

Guest guest
I think it is most likely a sensory integration thing. I just ordered the coolest chair online. It is called a balance ball chair and you can find it at www.gaia.com It is a therapy ball which sits inside a chair frame. Great for kids or adults with ants in their pants. It is supposed to be great for people with back problems as well. Jodi
Guest guest
All I can say is that at least your son is bouncing on the couch! My son, , is a jumper. He jumps up and down continuosly right smack in front of the tv. This is most likely to occur when watching football, bull riding, or soccer on the tv. He goes nuts, jumping up and down at least two jumps a second! I'm going to look into the bouncing chair! I look at it that he's developing great leg strength! ha ha ha. jayne mom to 3 including (ds and possible asd) 5 1/2 CINDY MATTERN <cindymattern@...> wrote: Hi everyone! My son, Ben, is 11 years old. Guest guest
My son (NOT the one with DS) jumps almost continuously when he plays Nintendo Gamecube. It is totally about excitement. He also flaps when he's excited. This, I think, he copied from his brother. Kids are funny. in Dallas Bouncing Hi everyone! My son, Ben, is 11 years old.
