An abstract may be structured or otherwise depending upon the instructions of the journal you wish to send the paper to.

Usually an unstructured abstracts should not be more than 150 words, and structured abstracts 250 words.

Your abstract should

· Emphasize new and important aspects of the study.

· Define all abbreviations used in the Summary.

· Not cite reference(s) .

Below the abstract provide, 3 to 10 key words or short phrases that will assist indexers in cross-indexing the article and may be published with the abstract. Use terms from the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) list of Index Medicus.
