It's on the FQA page... http://www.low dose naltrexone.org/further_q_and_a.htm

If I have to work on a night shift, for example from midnight to 8a.m., at what time should I take my LDN?

Continue to take LDN as recommended above; i.e., between 9pm and 3am. This relates to the fact that the endorphins for each day are always produced in the pre-dawn hours, regardless of the hours when one is awake or sleeping.

------------

I work 12-8am, I wake up 11:30PM and I take my LDN between 12:30 and 2AM. Even when I'm not working, I still take it the same time, but then it's before I go to sleep.

Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Change in Habit

Hi all,I dont know if this subject was addressed before but I cannot find anything in the archives. My wive is using naltrexone (with outstanding results) for the last 6 months. She is so much better - she accepted a job as a RN. Initially she would have worked day shift but now they want to put her in charge on a night shift. It is only 3 nights a week, but she doesnt want to "miss" her dosage(it makes her a little sleepy??). Can anyone give us a heads up or advise on how to handle the dosage within this new lifestile! Thanks a lot in advance

She should continue to take her pill at the same time regardless, I personally havn't encountered the sleepiness but I do know what it is like to miss a dose and it is just not worth it.

I am glad she is doing well on her doseage so she should carry on as before.Probably just being at work will perk her up enuf to get past the tiredness.
