Dear Dr Vallish

As every journal has its own style which may differ from the standard Vancouver style of referencing. Most journals recommend just standard Vancouver style of referencing whereas some journals modify this. Please check if all the references are given in this format then it means that this is the style of referencing this particular journal is following and you will have to stick to the same style if you are interested in submitting a manuscript to this journal.
