Guest guest
Hi NetRUMians,Its indeed unfortunate when a discussion on an important topic related to pharmacovigilance gets cancelled.Let me check if I can try to initiate and then keep the ball rolling though only to some extent. As we all know, pharmacovigilance in India is gaining importance day by day. With PvPI launched last year, we are optimistic of something great happening in India.May be I could give some updates on the current happenings in this field, only in India. Guest guest
Well done Manoj! How chivalrous of you!Dr Thawani, please give poor sleeping souls who forgot to turn up for their teaching jobs one more chance before they blow up it all. I mean, two years of nirvasana from holding electronic discussions is like " forever " , and don't you think is a little too harsh in the fast paced age of internet discussions. Reminds me of a story of the driver of our old professor of medicine. The driver was driving around our old professor in his old white ambassador car (does anyone even remember those cars these days? Do these cars still ply on the streets of India or are they all completely gone?), and met with an accident that nearly killed our professor. The professor and his driver got saved in life, the car was badly damaged, Eventually the professor recovered, and the car was repaired and was ready to go. Our professor called his driver and demanded, what should be done with him. Should he be fired (this is before the days of trade unions etc) for his lapse of duty? To which the driver begged for forgiveness and pleaded, " Sir, ek aur chance to dijiye " (Please Sir, give me one more chance):-), enjoy,Arin " There's a crack, a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in.
