Guest guest
Dear NetRUMians, Welcome to the discussion on this new topic: “National Immunization schedule: Is it being followed?†As per WHO and IAP, National Immunization schedule given by WHO and IAP has been displayed everywhere in the country. However, there is a disparity in the list when we see lists displayed in private pediatricians’ immunization clinics. The lists appear to be much longer compared to the National list. On one side while we are struggling to meet targets of the National Immunization schedule, can expensive vaccines be added to the list without any recommendation of WHO or IAP? Let us begin our discussion with: -What is our National Immunization schedule (India)? -What is the schedule being followed at your nearest private immunization center?
