I took Avonex for over 2 years, until I had the worst exacerbation I have ever had. I lost faith and quit. I didn't take any of the CRAB drugs for a year. At the insistence of my neuro and family, I decided to take copax, because it's compatible with LDN. It's such an easier shot than the intramuscular ones! They even give you an auto inject device. You don't even see a needle.

Good luck whatever you do.

Yes, I suppose I could switch. The idea of doing daily injections is not appealing, but I may have to get over that.

I back up what has said. Sure every day is a drag, but that rather than a couple of intermusculars. I have also found that I have had no side effects from the Copax.

Just my 2 cents,

Right now I take Rebif, which is a three-times-a-week subcutaneous shot, with an autoinjector. So Copax would be the same thing, just twice as often. Something to think about, and talk to my neuro about, but nothing I'm going to do right away.
