Namaste All,I think even in first example there should not be space after 2001;Pls. correct me if I am wrong.

A query with peers.I have seen instructions( of Biomedical journals and publishers who follow uniform referencing style)   not to put any punctuation after journal name and also seen in some other as mentioned in the example below, to put full stop. Is it optional or should we need to put full stop after journal name?

As a late entrant in this discussion I would like to say that in the Vancouver style, the 'month' and the

'date' not necessary.Further different journals wish to get finer modifications in the Vancouver style.
