Guest guest
Hello, I read the messages here, but I've only posted once before. My husband was diagnosed with MS in June this year. He started on LDN about a month ago. Unfortunately we can't say that he is feeling any better at all. In fact, we were talking last night and he said that he thinks that he felt the best that he's felt in over a year the few days before he started taking the LDN. He is taking 4.5 mg after starting at 3.0. He plans to continue to take it in hopes that he isn't progressing. Like most of you, his Neuro wouldn't even discuss the LDN with him, in fact telling him that he wasn't interested in even hearing about it. Personally, I think he needs a new neuro. The man is nice but won't hear anything except his own voice saying take Copaxone. So, that is just background. My question is this. Last night my husband was feeling pretty good, his symptoms were at a minimum (by the way, most of his symptoms are sensory)and he decided to use a new cleaning product he had bought for taking soap scum off the bathtub. He is very careful to use rubber gloves and had the area well ventilated. However, by the time he was done with the tub he was feeling horrible, the buzzing in his hands and feet was bad, his skin felt hyper-sensitive (he describes it as feeling sunburned) and he had a crawling skin feeling across the bridge of his nose and forehead. We are wondering if anyone else has had a similar reaction to cleaning chemicals. The only thing he did differently was clean the tub. Thanks for your input.
