Guest guest
Excuse me if I am repeating myself I haven't figured out how to look through the posted messages to find my old ones. I just started taking LDN about a week ago. I am taking 4.5 mg once at nite. I have been waking up with a headache almost every day. Is that normal? Does it go away. I really can't ask my PCP who prescribed it as I believe I know more about LDN than he. For those trying to get it, he was pursuaded by the argument that it can't hurt anything. thanks for any input, Larry
Guest guest
Larry, perhaps you should try 3.0mg for a while. Many people find the smaller dosage much easier to tolerate. Stiffness, sleeplessness, etc occur for many of us at 4.5 and not at 3.0. I wonder if your headache is a muscle tension headache from increased stiffness in your back or neck muscles... ----- Original Message ----- From: Larry Stahl low dose naltrexone Sent: Monday, September 06, 2004 8:41 PM Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Questions Just Started Excuse me if I am repeating myself I haven't figured out how to look throughthe posted messages to find my old ones.I just started taking LDN about a week ago. Guest guest
H there - I had mild headaches for awhile, but they were easily controlable with OTC meds - advil, motrin - stuff like that. At some point (not exactly sure when) they went away. But even if they came back - I would not stop my LDN as it has " fixed " all of my symptoms - and for 144 days I have been flair-up free!!! (Was getting flair ups every 40 - 45 days prior to LDN.) I started on 3.0 - after a few weeks increased to 4.5 where I am now. (tried 6.0 but it was too much for me!) Best of Luck to you Cinders
Guest guest
Hi Larry, When I started LDN in July, 2003 I woke up for a week or 10 days with a " Foggy " head. It was not a headache but it was not right. I also had trouble sleeping during that time. It did go away and has not returned since.
