I'm looking to get support in whatever way I can. I'm healing well and my appitite is not battling my mental well being yet, althought my history says I should set up support in every way possible. I live in Olympia and Dr. son did my surgery in Everett so distance is somewhat of a hinderance. I look forward to getting to know some of my support possibilities. Thanks, Delrae P.S. I'm also interested in a support group around the south end of the Puget Sound. ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. One is the 3rd Monday of every month and the other is every 3rd Tuesday of every month at 6pm. His office is at 200 Lilly Road NE - the building in the back. -Mia --complete quoted message snipped by moderator-- Please trim your posts. Guest guest
Hi Kellie - Thanks for the response. Sorry it took me so long too answer, I don't use this email much and my main email is in the cc box if you would like to use it. Do you go to any support groups in Oly? I'm considering the one tomorrow night on Lilly road. I worry, that I didn't have the surgery with the docters office that sponsers it - but I'm going to try it. How much have you lost so far? How has it been for you? You said you are at a stand still - explain - are you still trying to lose more or have you begun to gain some back? I'm not sure if my schedule will allow us to get together soon, I have two teenage boys and manage a Starbucks in town, so my schedule is a nightmare. But would consider it sometime...... I'm excited to hear your story and thanks again for the response to support. I hope we can be helpful for each other and I look forward to further conversations. Guest guest
I'm no Kellie, but I play one on TV...not really....but I can tell you that the support group at Dr. Neal's office on Lilly Road is open to " All banded, waiting to be banded, and thinking about being banded are welcome. As well as their family and friends. " which in my mind means anyone with an interest no matter where they get the surgery. I've been once and there were two folks from other surgeons there. It is a nice group. I'll be back there tomorrow night. -Mia > > Hi Kellie - > > Thanks for the response.
