Guest guest
Hi, While Arin et al continue to discuss reference management in its best form, here are some basics for the beginners: The method section answers the question: " How was the trial/study done " ? It gives the details in logical sequence. Since any researcher decides well in advance what is to be done and how it is to be done, it is better to write methods section BEFORE starting the trial/study. Ensure that you write here: - What was your hypothesis? - How was the trial/study designed? - Ethical aspects - Randomization - Blinding Explain well how was the study/trial done so that it is easy for others to understand and repeat the same if needed. - Declare the clinical end points - How were the data handled? - Statistical methods and `p' value Avoid using the phrases which are disliked in medical writing like: - " appropriate statistical test was used " - " done in consultation with statistician " Vijay
