Guest guest
I have been dealing with Oberto Sausage Company in Seattle area for close to 35 years. Their jerky is well known in the Pacific Northwest. Anyway, I got the information below in an e-mail. I didn't see the jerky sawdust here regrettably? since sometimes that has been as low as a dollar a pound. What I mean by " sawdust " is that Oberto makes jerky from pieces of meat and then cuts those pieces into uniform pieces to package, the small pieces left over as well as the sawdust from the saws is also sold. Unless you need the esthetic and tactile pleasure of reducing a big piece to small pieces, the sawdust can be a better deal.
