Guest guest
Twinman, Sorry to say, but I still have spasms and numbness, theses symptoms are/were the least of my worries. I can understand if they are the worst symptoms that you have that you would like to see them relieved, but you may not. If you don't progress further, then that's good. Believe me, it can get much worse. Marcie (PPMS)

Guest guest
I know all of this to be so true. I just have to be VERY careful with Magnesium as it pulls fluid into the intestinal tract resulting in UH-OH rushing to the restroom!! 800mg per day would have me in a terribble predicament!! I can only do 250mg every other day. But I do have to have it. Guest guest
Did you tell me about what happened a couple of weeks ago when we talked? I will definitely be praying for Rick and for you (as always)! Before I forget, I need to answer your questions; we haven't started the study. Ruth said we'll meet the 20th and just get started, but not the study right then. Please continue to pray. Also, I've been going to volleyball games with , like last year. I'm so glad I can go because a lot of people are saying that this year's team can't be any good since those 6 starters graduated. But they beat Parkston ( a larger school) in 5 matches..that was a tough one..and on Thurs. they beat Corsica in 3 matches. The Corsica coach actually told her girls in their huddle before the game started ( was sitting just above them and heard her) that this was "their turn". I was so glad the Andes girls beat them! But the coach was such a spoilsport that she wouldn't call the results in to the paper.. I need to have you pray for (the girls' coach); she is such a good friend..the principal, who used to be the coach, was talking with another male teacher who also coaches and who wants to be the volleyball coach at one of the games. They were sitting close enough to that she could hear what they said. Rocky said that she was just "spoiled" because the team was so good when she started and she isn't a good coach. Needless to say, she was devastated..I'm glad I can listen to her..someone not in the school system..then..after the girls won Tues. night (the tough one) when we all got home about 10:30, the next morning he came into her first period class for a surprise evaluation..talk about vindictive! According to the negotiated agreement the teachers have, the principal can't do this. I felt so bad; I just wanted to take a baseball bat to him!! And, remember, she's also pregnant..pray that I can be a support for her! I told her this sounds like Fuhs the last year I was there! (I'm glad I can share this with you because I can't tell anyone around here.) Dallas called yesterday, and I asked him what the deal is with his heart. He said he doesn't really know; he just knows that it really pounds when he doesn't feel good. He said it doesn't bother that much. I told him about yours; I hope that was ok. Dumb me; I knew that I had an earache for the last couple of weeks and sinus stuff, but I thought it was just allergies, but finally yesterday I went to dr. I have ear and sinus infection, so I'm on antibiotics and ear drops..feel rather punky but I know I'll get better..just a usual occurrence..for me..enough crying around.. Well, little sister, I guess I've rambled on long enough..thanks for the title and the note..love ya, Con ----- Original Message ----- From: nps low dose naltrexone Sent: Saturday, September 11, 2004 2:47 PM Subject: Re: [low dose naltrexone] what have been experiences or results on ldn. numbnes... ----- Original Message ----- From: marciemjm@... low dose naltrexone Sent: Saturday, September 11, 2004 6:42 AM Subject: Re: [low dose naltrexone] what have been experiences or results on ldn. numbnes... Guest guest
Twinman, I also have to say that I have had spasm from time to time on the LDN (something which I did not have before LDN), but I have bounced back and forth between 3 and 4.5, and sometimes been in between. Now at almost 7 months on LDN, I am taking 4.5 daily, and most negativity has ended. But, don't forget, even though there may be symptom relief, we all have MS, and therefore, all have good and bad days---though the good may be somewhat better, and the bad not as bad. It's a tough one to deal with, as there are really no professionals to " ask " ....it's almost as though it's trial and error on all of our parts.
