Editor is the leader of the publication. Hence editorials also called as " Leader

comment " .

Editorials are usually thematic.

Invited from persons of eminence with professional standing, gainful experience

and professional mastery.

On a vital issue, current controversy, hot topic of debate, concerns majority of

the readers.

Crisp but heavy content, no pictures and usually no references are quoted.

It is the only writing style where recommendations from the writer are

warranted.

Editorials accompanied by pictures of writer on his work desk, speaking on

phone, holding a pen in writing style are not in good taste.
