Guest guest
I have a friend who has a son, who is premed at McGill University in Montreal, canada. scott has asked me if I'd be willing to go talk to medical students about MS. The person in charge of this is a doctor. says they like it when patients do a " show n tell " thing. wants me to show how to sting with bees (I did BVT for over 3 years). This is how I think I'll do this presentation. 1- talk about my MS history 2- talk about the bee venom therapy 3- talk about LDN 4- there will be a question period (I'll have all my notes to back up what I say) 5- As a conclusion I want to tell the students to be more opened minded. to listen to their patients. The main reason is because many patients now can meet, exchange views, compare notes on different treatments they do. Also because doctors are generally too business to surf on the net, they should listen and check out the info patients bring to their office. And take the time to read the info patients bring. They should remember that drug companies are there to sell and make money first. They should also expand their knowledge and do a year on alternatives. Because as Dr Weil http://www.drweil.com/app/cda/drw_cda.html says traditionnal medicine is good for emergences, and operations while alternative medecine is a safeguard for general health. ----------------------------------------------------------------- So how does that sound? Anything else I should talk about? Who knows maybe I'll be able to open some minds on LDN Johanne F
