I want to thank everyone who has expressed interest in a

Vancouver LapBand Support Group! Seems like there's a whole lot of Canadians who

are banded or thinking about it!!

This group is open to patients of any WLS surgeons, whether you have been banded

or thinking about it! This is for mutual education, support and community.

The initial meeting will be Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 11AM. We will meet at

3339 W. 41st Ave. Bring band friendly snacks, since this is over the lunch hour!

At this time we will discuss how often we want to meet, when and where (if

there's too many to sit around in my living room!)

In the coming months we hope to invite Band educators, health care professionals

and others to provide information on Banding and post banding care.
