************************

[Note: From the web site " City University London is continuing its investment in

academic excellence by offering up to 75 fully-funded, full-time, 3-year

Doctoral Studentships commencing in October 2011. " If interested, please respond

directly to Dr. McCourt soon as the deadline is January 31st...Mod.]

Message forwarded from the GANM mailing list (Global Alliance for Nursing and

Midwifery)

From: " McCourt " <christine.mccourt.1@...>

Dear list members,

City University London will offer a number of funded studentships beginning

in the academic year 2011/12. These are open to UK, EU and overseas

candidates. There are likely to be several in the areas of maternal, infant

and child health.

The university is also interested in hearing from candidates who can obtain

co-funding/sponsorship - whether from an employer or a charitable or other

source, and some places will be set aside for co-funded students.

For information on how to apply please go to:

http://www.city.ac.uk/studentships

This was advertised in national press, but many potentially interested

people may not have seen this, so please feel free to circulate to relevant

lists.

If you are interested in applying in the broad areas of maternal or child

health, whatever your background or discipline, please contact me for an

informal discussion before applying.
