Guest guest
Hello, Alcohol mimicks prostaglandins in the body without actually making them. This is why people who need prostaglandins such as alcoholics crave alcohol. The correct way to make prostaglandins is with EFA's. I don't know what the LDN is doing to allow people to drink more but it doesn't sound negative. I wouldn't let it encourage people to drink more just to see how much they can take though. I have just found out that Drs in America will prescribe cannabis. Can anyone tell me more about this. How does cannabis help MS apart from relaxation, and what do I need to have wrong with me and my MS to have it prescribed. I had some cheese the other day as my husband went away for a week and I ran out of food. The next day I started a mild relapse. I never learn. The good news is I am about to achieve a lifetime goal of having my first solo exhibition here in America. It starts next Friday and I'm so excited. Guest guest
Zora, I have been on LDN for 2 yrs now. and when my legs bother me, from either stress, or overdoing it, I also smoke a bit. Not alot mind you, I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea that I drink wine AND smoke!! But, I will say that it does help quite a bit. I'm in Fla, where prescribing marijuanna for medicinal use is not legal, personally, I think it should be. Not just for MS, but so many others with diseases, like Cancer patients, get great relief from it. Unfortunatley, I'd have to move to Washington State to get a script! I believe there are 9 states that have legalized it for medicinal use. I have not found, what little I smoke or the little wine I drink affects my taking LDN. Thats my imput! Hope it helps! Guest guest
Cannabis is not legal here at all, but people do grow it here, obviously there are a lot of raids and so on………..but………one can get it… *Zora* San Trinidad West Indies *** -----Original Message----- From: LarryGC [mailto:larrygc@...] Sent: Monday, September 13, 2004 11:05 AM janska@... Subject: Re: [low dose naltrexone] alcohol and LDN, cannabis Is it legal there? There are a lot of people who smoke the stuff, they may not admit it on the group emails, but I've heard from many who do off the list. LDN has no impact/interference with it as far as anyone already knows. MJ isn't opiate based. ----- Original Message ----- From: Tackoors low dose naltrexone Sent: Monday, September 13, 2004 10:26 Subject: RE: [low dose naltrexone] alcohol and LDN, cannabis Is anybody using LDN and cannabis? Guest guest
Carol, would you please be more specific about marijuana? What leg symptoms does it specifically help with? Thank you. ________________________________________________________________ Get your name as your email address.
