Guest guest
My diagnosis was based on cervical lesions. I was offered, no - that's not right - not offered, Copaxone was pushed on me. I declined. The neuro said that if she saw me getting worse I would have to take it. ??? She seems unaware of the fact that it is my decision. Neuros... a different species altogether. Are the CRABs >ONLY< or Brain lesions? If someone ONLY had Cervical or Thoracic lesions, would they be offered the CRABs?

Guest guest
Larry, I believe if lesions where found anywhere, the first thing your neuro is going to do is suggest the CRAB's. Your disabilities would be very different, but the suggested treatment would be the same. Guest guest
, It's not Neuros, it's doctors in general. . . lol I try to stay as informed as possible, years ago I was going to my Neuro faithfully every year. And every year I would say no to the CRAB drugs. I haven't seen my doctor in a while, he had no problem writing me a script for my ldn, so I shouldn't really complain. I won't be silly and lose complete touch, you never know when you really going to need them. At this point my neuro knows better then to give me a sales pitch on the latest injectable. Stay strong and continue being a rebel is my motto, I hope it doesn't come back and bite me on the rear! Guest guest
I've been fortunate to have had a great GP for maybe 20 years now. But he retired... so far we like the new one, but time will tell. My husband's oncologist and radiation oncologist are both really wonderful. For me, so far, it's just the neuros who have been, well, really off.
