Western WA Fred Meyer's have Alaskan Copper River salmon for $7.99 a pound this week

This is best tasting salmon I have ever eaten.

In Tacoma, WA ie's Seafood on Dock Street has best selection of fish in town

and when I was last there,

copper river salmon was more like $28 a pound. My sO taught me to pan fry it

with a little butter in the pan, salmon skin side down and when part cooked put

in some water and a tight fitting lid to steam it done. MMMMMMHHHH!!!

$8 a pound for protein may seem high but a fish filet has virtually no waste and

a pound might feed a bandster for three or four meals.
