Guest guest
Dear Dr Geer, A request:Would it be possible for you to make a pdf/poster format of the different sections like rule no..deals with ...? Doctors could paste this poster in their clinics or on table tops to glance through whenever needed.RegardsAnupamaFrom: Dr Geer M Ishaq <ishaqgeer@...>Subject: What does RTI mean for the patients?netrum Date: Wednesday, 6 July, 2011, 8:33 AM Dear Members: Some of my messages are not getting posted in time. Guest guest
Dear Dr Anupama: Yes it can be done provided one has sufficient time which sadly I don't have at present. It must be already available somewhere on the web,I guess, you need to do a thorough search. A PDF file is available on the official website of J & K State Information Commission that gives key features of the RTI Act in table form. You can take print outs of each table and fix them on a poster and then display it wherever you want. Please vist " RTI in table form " section on the website: http://jksic.nic.in However it may be noted that J & K has its own RTI Act of 2009 and some of the provisions shown in these tables are different from central RTI Act of 2005. For example, here the application fee is Rs. 50 as against Rs. 10 at centre and photocopying fee is Rs 10 per page (which is quite hefty and unreasonable) as against Rs. 1 at centre.
