Guest guest Posted July 12, 2011 Report Share Posted July 12, 2011 In the backdrop of increasing requirement of well trained physicians to act as investigator required for increasing number of clinical research in India, the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India has set up Clinical Research Training Centres (CRTC) at six institutions in the country. The Department of Pharmacology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi is one such training centre and is coordinating the program. The second one week " National Clinical Research Training Course " is being organized from 22.08.2011 (Monday) to 27.08.2011 (Saturday) at AIIMS. Clinicians who are working in Medical Colleges/Hospitals preferably with post graduate qualification and are involved in clinical research are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to junior level faculty /clinical investigators with enthusiasm and high interest to initiate clinical research/trials. The number of trainees will be limited to 20. Hundred percent attendance in all the sessions on all the days is must for certification. You are requested to nominate two researchers (junior or mid level) from your institute/ department, to participate in this workshop. There is no registration fee for the workshop. The participants will be provided lunch and tea during the workshop. However, there is no provision for TA to the participants. We are making efforts to provide working accommodation on twin sharing basis. The nominations should reach preferably by 25th July 2010.
