Guest guest
I had mine separate: measles vaccine in March 1965, " German " measles vaccine 1971, and rubeola vaccine in 1972, (the latter two in a mass vaccination at school). I went on to have the " German " measles anyway in 1974. I had the mumps themselves so didn't get that vaccine. I lived in the midwest so we were usually behind the coasts. Guest guest
Thanks so much for the E-mail. What kind of reaction did you get from the coffee enemas? I did that 4 times and my pain level never changed. So many people say it helps them, so maybe I should keep on trying. If I feel really bad after trying a product, how do I know if I'm herxing or if I'm having a bad reaction to it?? I'm almost scared to herx, because I don't want my pain to get worse! Right now, I'm just barely getting thru the days, and no one ever knows how long the herxing could go on for.I'm scared! It seems like the more I find out about Candida and treatments, the more confused I get.If I felt better, I would have the energy to read up on all the self-help books, and try different solutions. My head is so fogged up that I can't remember so many things. I feel like a 95 yr. old lady! Thanks for the info on the Mannatech-I was hoping that it would really help me. Take care-Love, Daryl Re: I'm pooped out today!! -DarylSorry about your experience with the colonic. NOthing to be embarassed about. I bet they have pretty much seen it all. Please let us know how the one on monday goes. I am having such a detox reaction to coffee enemas, that I am afraid to try a colonic. As far as the ambrotose, I will tell you only that I have a friend who is a nutritional consultant and she used to sell mannatech. She said that it originally helped her daughter and husband, but they eventually changed the formulation. This made her daughter very sick. Apparently arabagalactin or something like that is in it and this causes candida to grow. She sent me some studies and I looked at them. This chemical is actually used in the laboratory to speed up the growth of candida on cultures. Apparently she knows others who got sick eventually too. I think she is an honest person, and frankly, I would be very cautious about it. Apparently you can feel better first, but as months go by, the candida problems start to manifest more. It is very expensive and I think Patty tried it for awhile and wasn't impressed. Thats all I know.Hugs, kathy-- In , "Daryl " <daryljean@c...> wrote:> Re: To ... Guest guest
Dear daryl I have done coffee enemas about 4-5 times altogether. EAch time I felt an initial sense of energy and wellness. This lasted hours. Two of the times that was it. But the other three, I went on to herx. Once, I threw up bile for a couple of hours. A different time, I started to have pain in odd places and then got woozy and a bad headache. That was a week ago. Then this past thurs I did another one. A few hours later I got a headache and it lasted all nite. It was a definitely a herx. I could tell because first my shoulders felt really sore and tender, then my neck and then it went to my temples. This was the same as the week before. This has also happened with other detox I have tried. If you aren't feeling a change in your pain levels, that still doesn't mean that the coffee enema isn't helping. It could still be helping to remove toxins, so as long as you are doing them correctly and not overly often and are juicing, I think they would be good for you. Are you using organic caffinated coffee? Don't use decaff. Follow the directions carefully. As far as how to know if you are having a bad reaction or a herx, I would say if you are using something correctly and within normal limits, and your reaction is an increase in pain, headache, nausea, things like that--it is probably a herx. Again, that is why I would only use one product at a time, or do one form of detox at a time. That way you are less likely to have an overwhelming herx and also to know what is causing the symptoms. For instance, if I take a bentonite bath, do the far infrared sauna, and do a coffee enema, and then feel terrible hours later, which caused the problem? Or was it the combination that caused the problem? I need to do only one until I know how I react to it before trying something else too. I know it is scary to think you could actually feel worse than you already do. I know exactly how you feel. That is why I am still on such a low dose of antibiotics for the last 2 years--I can't stand the herxes on higher doses. I also feel for you about the brain fog. I used to be the same way. I just kept thinking if someone could just do it for me--like figure out what to buy, go get it, prepare it for me, etc. then maybe I could get better. It was just overwhelming because you didn't even feel good enough to go FIND the stuff you needed, much less figure out an agenda and follow it! I have ordered The Maker's Diet by Jordin Rubin. It should have some really good suggestions about finding your way back to health. I think you might like to read that and possibly approach you return to health from this book. It addresses total health and the total body and mind. If it is as good as his other books, I think following it could vrey well help you back on your road to health. I will keep you in my prayers. God bless, kathy > Thanks so much for the E-mail. What kind of reaction did you get from the coffee enemas? I did that 4 times and my pain level never changed. Guest guest
Kathy, you should not be taking 6.5 mgs of ldn. More is not necessarily better. Dr. B has only 2 patients on 6mgs and will reprimand those who have gone higher on there own. Unless you feel a major difference between 4.5 and 6mgs, stick to the 4.5.mgs. Have you looked into cranberry capsules or the bladder tea someone recommended for UTI's?
Guest guest
Hi Kathy, weight has nothing to do with it. I weigh 125lbs and Dr. B put me on 6mgs. My friend weighs 160lbs and he put her on 4.5mgs. I am sure there are plenty of men who are bigger and can only take 3mgs. Dr. B does not recommend 6mgs . Mine was a rare instance and I said before, reprimanded a friend for raising her dose to 6. He believes 4.5mg is the magic # for most. The UTI can be causing your problems, but I would lower the dose to 4.5 . You may be blocking the endorphins too long at the higher dose. Guest guest
I agree with your statement about weight as I am 230lbs and find that 4.5mgs is just way too much for me, 3.0mgs is perfect. Guest guest
Quite by accident I found biotin to almost eliminate spasticity. You see I was trying to bake gluten free bread and had purchased flavored gelatin by mistake. I thought since I had opened it I would just try it. Later that day I was surprised to find the ability to bend the knees without the pain and tightness from spasticity. I thought how could this be and tried to remember what I had done differently that day. The gelatin for nails was the only thing out of the ordinary. I checked the ingredients and found 100% of the daily requirements for biotin on the label. I have since purchased the supplement from Twin Labs and am happy to report spasticity and painful knees are almosrt nonexistent. I should also mention that I am on a host of supplements and if I do not take them in conjunction with the biotin it does not have the same effect. Guest guest
Zora I tried Baclofen on two separate occasions and the same thing happened to me ie. increased spasms and weakness, They sure dissolve fast in the sink though I quite liked to watch them dissolve and go down the drain. Again it just reinforces the fact that we are all so very different. Baclofen did just opposite what it suppose to do, I had much more spasms than before, it doesn't make sense to take it in my case. I tried about two weeks each time. ***Zora*** San Trinidad, West Indies ****** *** *
