Guest guest
Yes, with some family member more than friends, but then my best friend got banded a year before me, then her husband got banded, so I have a great support team of friends, family thinks i'm nuts, and i think they are overweight and jealous. Carbonated beverages are mostly a no-no, they say it " might " stretch your pouch. I tried a sip of my grandson orange pop and it hurt sooo bad. I had my first beer after two years of banding at thanksgiving...but, it was a very dark ow carbinated beer, I had 1/2 a glass and it took me 1/2 hour to drink it, and the glass was a shot glass! but it tasted good, not good enough to want to drink regularly again and oh the calories. Fortunately I grew up in the yakima valley and happen to be a wine lover so I have no problem. Today we are having company and I am making moroccan coffees, hot and tastey. You will learn as you go, join a good support group if you have one in your area and there are many online support groups that are great and will help walk you through this.
