This coming wednesday is our meeting if you want to come. I would subscribe to PNWbandsters so that you receive notices about the meeting and any changes to it. I have heard of a lap band support group that meets on the 1st tuesday of the month at a hospital on the north side of spokane, but don't know much beyond that. Take your meds for pain before you think you need them. I didn't do that and was in pain for a day or two. Also have a heating pad and gas-x ready. The north Spokane group would probably work better since I live on the north side. Will stop and get some Gas-X and I also heard I should probably get some Pepcid AC. Guest guest Posted December 16, 2008 Report Share Posted December 16, 2008 Doe Doe, //Please pay attention to the not lifting anything over 10 pounds for 6 weeks.// That is the first time I heard of the weight restriction. Dr Pennings probably told me and I just forgot. I have surgery this Monday, the 22nd, and was planning on getting back to work the following Monday. I will need to weigh my computer & bag and see where I stand. May need to modify how I work. Are you attending a support group on the north end or is it through Rockwood?
