Guest guest
Reg, I'm responding to this line from your e-mail about dosage: "Yes 4.5 may work better at stopping progression but at what cost?" Just wanted you to know that Dr. Bihari told me that for some people, those who can't tolerate 4.5, 3 mg IS the dosage that will prevent disease progression for them. Guest guest
, You're right, everyone has to consider at what cost. I was on 3mg for over 8 months before I realized that the benefit started fading and it was finally time for 4.5. It was the right call for me, I'm finally able to sleep through the night and with no bathroom stops, with once again increased energy. Trial and error is scary with medicine especially with your own body. But when you finally get it right, it's well worth it. Guest guest
I want to send out a heartfelt thanks to all that responded to my letter. Since it was suggested by many that I go to 4.5mgs I started to divide up one of my 3.0mg caps and I take it along with the 3.0mg capsule. After only two days I am now back on the right track. What I find interesting is that it took almost a year to get to this point, the point that 3.0mgs just wasn't enuf and I needed to increase to 4.5. Why 4.5 and not 4.0mgs? I don't know but it is easy to divide a 3.0 in half so that I can get the 4.5mgs that I require. I tell you I was not looking forward to going downhill again so this just made it a very good Thanksgiving for me. Yes here in Canada it's Thanksgiving.
