The next time you speak to Bihari ask him if coming off the Avonex and just being on LDN only would be best. He will probably gradually try to wean you away from the Avonex. Read the website again about which CRAB drugs are compatible with LDN. Bihari is probably trying not to cause you problems with your neuro by pulling you off your Avonex. And also, I'm not positive but since LDN is not FDA approved for the treatment of MS it may be illegal for him to tell you to come off the Avonex. He's probably hoping you'll see the good in LDN and make the decision to come off the Avonex yourself like many others have in the past.

I agree. Dr. Bihari never told me to stop taking Betaseron. But upon query, he did indicate that people tended to just stop taking the stuff. After I was sure that I was deriving benefit from LDN, I stopped taking the interferon. My neuro was rather perturbed until I pointed out that I was getting depressed on interfuron...I don't think he wanted to argue that the side effect of suicide ideation or behavior was FDA approved. My GP, who had been unwilling to prescribed LDN, was sufficiently impressed with my progress to indicate willingness to assist me in finding another neurologist to monitor my progress, and shook my hand as I went out the door. My neurologist did a thorough rating of my condition and acknowledged that I was doing well...he may have realized that I was about to fire him.
