Guest guest
Dear colleagues Severe multi-drug resistant gram negative infections are becoming more common worldwide. These bacteria are often still sensitive to the older antibiotics colistin or polymyxin B. These drugs are now being used more commonly. Unfortunately, little is known about how these drugs are dosed optimally and with what other drugs to combine them. As a starting point we intend to do this global survey to get a sense how colistin and polymixin B are being used worldwide. This survey will take about 15 to 20 minutes of your time. Please complete the online questionnaire using the following link: http://FreeOnlineSurveys.com/rendersurvey.asp?sid=6lb27425a5aq1qh933255 Please forward this link to ANYONE in the world you think should also complete this questionnaire (mainly intensive care unit doctors). Also to those working in countries where colistin is NOT available. For questions or comments, please contact Dr. Heiman Wertheim, University of Oxford, by email: heiman.wertheim@.... Best wishes Heiman F.L. Wertheim, M.D. Ph.D. National Hospital of Tropical Diseases 78 Giai Phong Street Hanoi Viet Nam
