Guest guest
Somebody said here recently that they take Valerian to help them sleep, probably you can try that. Zora I've been on ldn for 4+ months now and at first had no side effects whatsoever.I slept fine, even better and deeper than usual, and was awake almost exactly 7 hours to the minute after I went to sleep/took my bedtime dose.I was without my usual ldn Rx for about a week (3 mgs at bedtime)and after I resumed it, I could not and have not been able to get to sleep or sleep for more than a couple of hours a night.Sleep for me is not a luxury, it makes the difference between having a good/great day and feeling horrible the next (and the next). I read some past posts where people said they had insomnia for '6 months' (or more, or less) when first starting on ldn, and then it graduatlly went away. I can't imagine not sleeping (or sleeping poorly) for 6 months, AND having MS!?!Has anyone else on the board had trouble with insomnia while on ldn, and if so, has anything helped?I want to feel like I did my first week on ldn - when I had a wonderful renewed sense of well-being, no sleep disturbances, increased energy, etc.I have always been verrrry sensitive to meds, and do not wish to increase my dose at this time (as has been kindly suggested to me in the past here).Any helpful tips/shared experiences re: trouble sleeping while taking ldn will be welcomed. Guest guest
I have used Melatonin with good effect. Lately it has left me feeling groggy for a while in the morning, but that is unusual. I've used Melatonin off and on for several years without experiencing morning after grogginess. ----- Original Message ----- From: Zora low dose naltrexone Sent: Sunday, October 03, 2004 2:39 PM Subject: Re: [low dose naltrexone] insomnia worsening Somebody said here recently that they take Valerian to help them sleep, probably you can try that.
