Guest guest
I am so glad to see some comments beginning to appear...I wondered why no one had hopped on this. And by the way, I thought I read that Manfred was taking 175 mg of Naltrexone, not 50...and was also stating that up to 800mg is not harmful, if I read it right. I see by theIt's possible that there may be some problems in translation, but I did find at least one site in the U.K. stating that there had been toxic effects on the liver at doses of 300mg per day and higher. I personally am not going to consider something that hasn't been tested for years. Dr. Bihari has been working with Naltrexone and LDN for for 20 years, hasn't he? And lots of people are having good results with the low doses, aren't they, including reversal of MRI evidence? So I cannot imagine why any of us for whom the LDN is working would consider upping the dosage. I think we need to consider Manfred as an equal member of this forum--he can post experiences he has personally but he is not an expert on this just by way of having "Dr." in front of his name. I'm sure that anyone doing legitimate work with Naltrexone would want to see the complete research of someone who's worked with it 20 years so I'm sure he'll be contacting Dr. Bihari...more will be revealed in time. I certainly will be interested in following Manfred's experiences over the next few years but will not be trying any brand new methodologies that haven't met the test of time. Guest guest
Daphne, I totally agree with you. I would like to continue hearing of Dr. Fuhrmann' s experiences and results of his findings. I think that it is wonderful to learn all that we can. I would love other doctors to post their findings and theories, and wish there were more doctors willing to become involved. I think that it would be wonderful if Dr. Bihari could come online occasionally and give us some input...even answer some of our questsions. In as much as so many doctors refuse to listen to the findings on LDN from Dr. Bihari, who is to say that new findings might not be just as important.
