, I read your e-mail and called Irmat. Although they sometimes use

avicel (spelling?), for most patients (including me) they use calcium

carbonate. The pharmacist said that they've found it works better for

lactose-intolerant people AND that, in general, people have experienced

fewer complications of any sort.
