Hello, I'm new to the group and surely appreciate the wealth of

information! I started taking Iodoral, 50 mgs., about one month ago

per Dr. Flechas and have been going along with just minor detox

symptoms since then. I've been using the salt loading and other

supplements that I've learned about here but not to the level I should

be with Selenium and Magnesium. I woke up yesterday with swollen

glands under my jaw and around my neck and was wondering if the fish

that I ate the night before could be the cause? Thank you for any

input.

Hi, I've been having this issue too see my post from last week.

iodine/message/31624

I was taking iodine for about a month when my glands first came up (just

like you), I also got earache and thought I was coming down with

something. I now realise it's something to do with taking iodine. My

glands have gone up and down. I've stopped taking the iodine for 3 days

(I've now been taking for 8 weeks) but my glands under my neck and

around my neck still feel awful. I've been taking the co-factors at the

levels recommended levels on breastcancerchoices.org but I'm not sure

what else to do either so if you manage to get yours to feel better

please post what you do.

Hi Margaret, Try not to worry too much as this is being checked out , but with thyroid issues almost any bodily function can be affected by the reduced metabolism, but this isn't one I've come across before. > thyroid treatment > From: margaretp09@...> Date: Fri, 30 Jul 2010 13:24:15 +0000> Subject: Swollen lymph glands> > Hi,> > My daughter saw a new rheumatologist today and is sending her for more tests, including TSH/T4/antibody. Also as she has swollen lymph glands in neck, groin and under arms she is going to see a haematologist. Are these swollen glands signs of thyroid problem besides anything more sinister? I am worried now.> > Margaret> > > > ------------------------------------> > TPA is not medically qualified. Consult with a qualified medical practitioner before changing medication.> >
