My concern is this: addicts tend to stop taking Naltrexone because it causes them to feel depressed. Someone with MS certainly doesn't need a drug to depress them, the disease process tends to do that anyway. If MSers take 50mg and become depressed will we see an increase in the suicide rate that is already too high for people with MS? I am a relatively sane and happy person, but every flare up I've ever had BEGINS with depression, it is not a response to the disease but is directly caused by it. During those times death is somewhat inviting. I sure don't need a drug making that even worse. I have very strong objections to suicide and don't see it as a danger to me, but with a drug increasing my depression level maybe I would begin to rationalize as so many others have done. Any thoughts on this?

And then Dr Furmann is telling us that LDN may cancer at the same time he is encouraging a 50 mg dose. I am a bit confused about that. Naltrexone has been around a long time now, wouldn't that issue have come up before?

He needs to do studies on this before telling us to try 50mg. This person I consider dangerous to this forum and the newbies to this forum. His posts are being deleted from other LDN message boards.50mg of Naltrexone IS DANGEROUS TO PEOPLE WITH MS. IT WILL EVENTUALLY MAKE YOUR DISEASE MUCH WORSE. Bihari hs had 20 years of studying this. Dr. Furmann aka Manfred has had no experience except his own body for only a short few months maybe.Be cautious!!!Bren
