Guest guest
I am not sure where you are getting your dulse but many seaweed products have been show to be full of toxins and toxic halides. One of these being arsenic. It is generally not a good idea to try to get iodine from sea vegetable products as you never know how pure they are. We are warned about the fish because of the waters - sea veggies are the same way. Severe reaction to Sea Adine..... Guest guest
it's very common for hypothyroid ppl to be guven tranquilizers for years, when they really need thyroid meds. don't expect much help from endos--most of us hypos won't go to them. look at http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com gracia It seems if I touch or take Dulse....even a tiny ammount , it causes some kind of reaction within minutes. Guest guest
Good catch Gracia. I was focusing on the dulse. She's right. Endo's are no good for thyroid issues. They only test TSH and T4. You need to test Free T3 & Free T4 to get a clear picture of thyroid health. Then if they are in the range they will pronounce you OK but if you are low in the ranges you probably still are not. I was put on antidepressant when I was on Synthroid. Guess what? When I got on Armour, balanced my sex hormones and took armour plus detoxed from mercury and other junk - it all went away. No more issues. My endo would have killed me had I let him. www.naturalthyroidchoices.com Re: Severe reaction to Sea Adine..... Guest guest
Maine Coast seaweeds are tested for pollutants ... I'm not sure if that means they are 100% safe but I do enjoy the dulse on my salads ... Anyone else have experience with Maine Coast brand?
