Guest guest
Hi all, I found the info below at this website: http://www.msrc.co.uk/downloads/Bella_LDN_GP_PACK.doc by the way, this site has a really good explanation of the whole scenario My Compounding pharmacy also mentioned to me that they had heard that the liquid forms might not retain their effectiveness for very long...that's why the encouraged me to get the capsules and contacted my doc to get the Rx changed. I mention this just in case some of the folks having trouble are doing the liquid thing. (Daphne) >>Liquid preparations of naltrexone have been used but it has been found that simple aqueous solutions are rapidly inactivated and do not retain any therapeutic benefit beyond 24 hours. A suspension in sugar syrup, with appropriate preservatives and antioxidants, will retain its effectiveness for up to 60 days if kept refrigerated at, or below, 4 degrees Centigrade.<<
