Guest guest
Hi Ron, You sound like you're going through something like what happened to me this past winter. I have been fighting hashimoto's & stage 5 adrenal fatigue. Would you be open to trying a phone consult with Dr. Rind (from drrind.com)? He'a a holistic integrative physician who specializes in adrenal issues. He really knows his stuff! He helped me tremendously! I spoke with him several times by phone. He looked at my blood tests, which I had faxed to him ahead of time. If you don't have blood tests, that's OK, he can tell a lot by other things, like temperature charts (found on the web site). He can even write prescriptions for products. Please don't give up. Please consider this option. I know how frustrating it is to be so sick & to need a knowledgable doctor! Bless you, Kathy Lapp in Alberta, Canada PS I'm a *lot* better now, by the way. > > Thank you so much. > I actually have asked for most of theese but dont get them. I had a severe attack on my body of either porphyria or something immune about 2 months ago and the ER drs wouldnt do anything other than " tell " me that I need a good endo workup....I pleaded with them to put me in the hospital...lol No insurance...no treatment. I have insurance now but have to wait. > I had 2 nuclear scans looking for a pheochromocytoma 6 years ago...now wondering what all that I131 radiation really did to me ? > Im keeping this email...thanks soooo much > >
Guest guest
Steph, My whole family got tested through Dr. Fine at www.finerhealth.com. It is a stool test and gluten problems can be diagnosed much earlier in the stool than the blood. Dr. Fine actually has problems with gluten. Deb>> what test did you get? Guest guest
Steph, Would you by any chance know of a good iodine doc in Austin, Texas? Thanks.
Guest guest
Hi, You might want to go to my dr. His Name is Dr Ron Manzanero M.D. He recently moved his office to 38th street so it is hard to go and see him from where we are but on my last visit I asked him if he had heard about Iodoral and I mentioned how important it is for us to get tested. He took my empty bottle of Iodoral and was going to look into it. I thought someone said that he was now testing for deficiencies so how cool is that for a dr to take advice from one of his patients?! I'd be sure to call and ask. He's a great dr and his staff is super sweet! He also treats adrenals, too. Here's his web site. www.aimmd.com Sue > > Steph, > Â > Would you by any chance know of a good iodine doc in Austin, Texas? > Â > Thanks. > Â > >
Guest guest
Hi, Dr Dommissee is in Tucson. He's a really good dr, too. You might want to call and ask if they take insurance or if you can submit it yourself. Here's his web site. You can check it out to see what you think of it. http://www.johndommissemd.com/site/965699/page/45029 Sue > > From: ladybugsandbees <ladybugsandbees@...> > Subject: Re: Thanks everyone for the Sea Adine answers. > iodine > Date: Sunday, August 10, 2008, 11:16 PM > > Where do you live Ron? Maybe we have a good doc for you. >  > Steph
Guest guest
The one Dr you mention is is Austin texas. Dommissee was just on the news tonight ! He got into a bunch of hot water with some type of malpractice and is losing or has lost his liscence....... I think I found a Dr from pakistan that will be seeing me tomorrow. I have NO idea if he is iodine educated or not , but they have sure put me on the very top of the list. Even asked me if I wanted to go into the hospital today. BTW I couldnt resist touching the vitamin pill with the dulse in it , even put it in my mouth 3 times briefly....nothing ? I did a small salt push earlier , took selenium earlier , and vit C. Everything was quite ok until I went to bed...OMG.....the very wierd sensations going on inside my head are almost undescribable....like a twirling sensation , and strange sounds......I didnt sleep much though , it tells me something is up with the iodine stuff for sure.......still afraid to go big so I can avoid a trip to the ER with violent tachycardia. Funny thing is that I look almost the pictureof health on the outside......Thanks for your help, From: osuzyqs <osuzyqs@...>Subject: Re: Thanks everyone for the Sea Adine answers.iodine Date: Tuesday, August 12, 2008, 2:00 PM Hi,Dr Dommissee is in Tucson. Guest guest
I have heard Dr. Dommissee speak and he is awesome!! A very intelligent man. If I lived near there, I would go see him. Guest guest
I think very highly of him also......but he is in repeated trouble over something ? Guest guest
If you read the website he explains what he is in trouble for and you are right it is for exposing the truth and treating chronic disease as it should be treated. He is being persecuted for making people better. Re: Thanks everyone for the Sea Adine answers. > > iodinegroups (DOT) com > > Date: Sunday, August 10, 2008, 11:16 PM > > > > Where do you live Ron? Guest guest
Like I said...it just popped up on the news tonight. Im a firm believer in orthomolecular medicine and Psychiatry. Carl Pheiffer was another pioneer that was looked down upon by exposing the truth. Guest guest
Hi Ron, I would still trust Dr Dommissee to treat me. I think he gets into hot water because of how good he is and the FDA is always on the outlook for drs who treat patients naturally rather than thru the usual healthcare practice of dispensing many drugs. Go figure! I believe that most Naturopathic drs have to be careful of being shut down because the big pharma companies lose money once people hear from others that something natural helped them over synthetic drugs. If you look at his web site, he talks about this very thing. I wish we lived in Tucson, I'd go to him in a heartbeat! I hope that this new dr will be able to help you in your quest to getting well again. Good luck and keep us posted! Guest guest
I wanted to let you know that Dr Dommissee is appealing his case and is not going to back down. He knows his stuff and is a great dr. I emailed him yesterday to ask what was going on with his practice. He was nice and emailed me back about it. So, if you still need a good dr to call, you might want to try him. Guest guest
Thank you Sue. Heard about him. Yes he prescribes Armour and Iodine...A thyroid surgeon gave high ratings for him. I will save money to go see him as he is not covered by insurance.
