Guest guest
It's not on Cable for me. Here is a "Where to Watch" http://www.mandjshow.com/about-the-show/ for your area. Guest guest
I saw the show. The segment was about bioidentical hormones and focused on a woman who got relief from debilitating menopause symptoms with bioidenticals. The " controversy " was over the safety of bioidentical hormones. Dr. Brownstein was very informative. I didn't know he was so young! No mention of iodine. Guest guest
How old do you think he is? I got so frustrated with the lumping in of synthetic and natural. They are different animals. Here is the doctor he was up against. http://www.drjenniferashton.com/meet.asp Steph Re: Fw: Watch Dr. Brownstein on Fox's Morning Show with Mike and Julliet 12.16.08 I saw the show. Guest guest
Well, he's younger than I am! He looks like he's in his mid-40s. Of course, those of us who use bioidentical hormones (I do) often look younger than we are. The truth is that there's a lot that isn't known yet about bioidentical hormone replacement. It's just as inaccurate to say that they're " safe " as it is to say that they're " unsafe. " It's a bit silly to spend time arguing about it. Instead, we should be funding proper studies. Thanks for the link to the other doc, who pretty much said exactly what my gynecologist says. (I don't use her for my hormone prescriptions.) > > How old do you think he is? > > I got so frustrated with the lumping in of synthetic and natural. They are different animals. Guest guest
He's 45 years old. Yep mid-40's. There should be studies for the BHrt I agree. But no one will fund it. Guest guest
Steph, I watched Dr. Brownstein on the show and he didn't seem as arrogant as the doctors I have had. You are one lucky lady to have him as your doctor. Is he an Endo?Do you know of any doctors in southern California that prescribes bioidenticals?ThanksPamelaFrom: ladybugsandbees <ladybugsandbees@...>Subject: Re: Re: Fw: Watch Dr. Brownstein on Fox's Morning Show with Mike and Julliet 12.16.08iodine Date: Tuesday, December 16, 2008, 11:43 AM He's 45 years old. Guest guest
He is so humble. Sometimes I have to nudge him to make him understand just how important he is to his patients. He just doesn't take credit for all that he does. He is a great friend too. He is a Family Practice Doctor. Check out the practitioners listed on www.breastcancerchoices.org Iodine practitioners. They will be alternative and will more than likely rx BHrt. Steph Re: Fw: Watch Dr. Brownstein on Fox's Morning Show with Mike and Julliet 12.16.08 Well, he's younger than I am! Guest guest
I started to watch it, but couldn't with drug co pimp and her lies!! I just can't take the bs anymore. Too upsetting. Especially if they take the hormones I need off the market. The end of next year we have codex and possibly the end of our supplements. What are we going to do?? The stress is not helping me now. Guest guest
There will be a HUGE uprising if they take them away. I for one will be first in line. At 43 I am in early menopause and need my BHrt. I am on relatively high doses too. I tried to come off them last year and about died from hot flashes, mood swings, loss of hair and more. My husband would be right behind me to protest. Guest guest
WHat a shame...that big mouth show doctor Ashton or whatever her name was...should have not been SO rude to have sucked up all the air on that interview. Dr. Brownstein should be given kudos for getting in as much as he could. The show's hosts should have moderated it better.....I wanted to hear what Dr. Brownstein had to say WHO cares what the shows dr. had to say afterall...just WHO were the guests????? Fuming...sorry to vent Michigan
