Guest guest
I have been taking LDN since Nov 3, 2003. I didn't take a flu shot last year and did not get the flu. I won't take it this year either. I am very healthy except for the MS. I know that sounds funny. I mean that if I were to have a standard CBC and whatever else is routinely done, I appear on paper to be healthier than anyone that I know! I am not aware of any problems with my LDN even being compounded with calcium, but just to be on the safe side, I think I will switch to the Avicel when I refill I'll be calling. I quit using Nutrasweet years ago, so maybe this is part of why I have not had any trouble. I decided that if I was going to splurge and drink a soft drink, sugar had to be safer than synthetic chemicals. Could be wrong, but I don't drink many soft drinks anyway. Since LDN stimulates the immune system, I would be curious if anyone gets the flu this season without taking a flu vaccine injection. I wonder if people who have initial side effects also consume anything regularly that contains Nutrasweet?? If yes, perhaps eliminate that from the diet til more established on LDN. Would my LDN patients send an e mail to the LDN site, email@..., and tell them of your success. Thanks, Wayne Loveland, R.Ph.

Guest guest
I'll just add a note about the flu shot; my neurologist tells me NOT to get a shot, because there is too much of a risk of this causing an exacerbation. I do remember quite a few years ago when I had a different neuro and I got a flu shot. I was virtually sick the rest of the winter. All LDN does is stop the production of endorphins for a few hours. the body then gopes into producting positive T-cells to equal out with the negative T cells. Then the body can heal itself. This is the reason LDN can help many illnesses. It all seems to depends how many neagtive T-cells surround the ill cells. Anyway that's the way I understand how LDN works
