Hi- I took my first two 3 mg doses at about 10 PM for two successive nights and I was not able to sleep at all those nights. I have not taken a dose since as it leaves me so exhausted the next day that I cannot function. BTW I have SPMS, so fatigue is already an issue. Can anyone offer any advice about this problem? Thanks,

I'm on LDN since April,2004. I had trouble sleeping at first, still have occasional restlesss nights, didn't have the bladder control that some experience at first, BUT this is my 7th month - and things are great.

Bladder control is better, sleeping is better and yesterday some friends saw me for a fews hours then had to call me later and tell me how great I looked and acted. They saw me when I just started and said there was a significant change.

Dr. Bihari (on the website) recommends giving it at least 6-9 months. I agree, if I had given up before, I would have never known the improvements.

The most impressive is the outlook on life I have and the lack of depression. And I truly believe it stops progression - that in itself is enuf to keep taking it.

I'm SPMS and have taken both Avonex and Copaxone in the past. Just LDN now and wouldn't trade it for anything.

My recommendation - stick with it.

Arlene
