Guest guest
I live in NYC and Dr. Linchitz was booked up for several months but his associate, Dr. Jonathon Dashiff is available sooner. He is an orthopedic specialist but the receptionist said he has worked with Dr. Linchitz for a long time. I also may try to see Dr. Caramagna, DO? Anyone have experiences with him regarding management of their Hashis/hypothyroid and iodine supplementation? Dr. L appears to prescribe Armour which is what I already use and like -- so I am hoping that is the case with Dr. Caramagna as well. The other thing I liked about Dr. L was that his website mentions a recommended diet plan that I aleady follow ( " hunter- gatherer style -- no grains or dairy) -- just a coincidence, but I liked that fact. I am not advocating this diet for anyone -- just seems to work for me and I like meat, veggies, fruit, nuts, eggs -- don't miss grains or dairy at all. But I think everyone is unique in terms of what diet works best for them -- so I am not advocating this over any other plan. Different strokes for different folks. Guest guest
Dr Caramagna is a friend of Dr. Brownstein and when I asked for a referral for a Dr in the area (NYC) this was the name Dr B gave me. I have chatted with Dr. C via e-mail a few times and he seems very nice. One woman I sent to him was impressed but I have not stayed in contact with her. Dr. C will tell you that Dr. B was his mentor. I hope that helps!
